IDEX 2027, the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, is a leading global defence and security event, bringing together government officials, military leaders, defence manufacturers, technology companies, and procurement specialists from around the world. The 17th edition will take place from 25 to 29 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, IDEX is organised by Capital Events with the support of the UAE Ministry of Defence and is co-located with NAVDEX, the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition. According to the organiser, the 2025 edition welcomed 206,000 visitors and 1,565 brands and exhibitors across 181,000 sqm of exhibition space.

What to Expect at IDEX 2027

IDEX covers the land, air, and sea defence sectors, while NAVDEX focuses on naval defence and maritime security. Visitors can explore defence systems, aerospace technologies, naval solutions, CBRNE capabilities, security equipment, and AI-driven defence innovations from OEMs, prime contractors, and technology companies.

The 2027 edition will also feature the International Defence Conference (IDC), IDEX & NAVDEX Talks, a dedicated CBRNE Hub, live demonstrations, and IDEX NXT, a new innovation hub for AI-driven defence technologies. Together, these programmes make IDEX a key meeting point for the global defence and security industry.

Why Exhibit at IDEX 2027

Exhibiting at IDEX gives companies direct access to high-ranking military officials, government decision-makers, procurement stakeholders, and international delegations from over 65 countries. The event is designed around business growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.

For defence manufacturers, aerospace companies, naval technology providers, security firms, and technology businesses, a well-planned exhibition stand can support product displays, private meetings, technical briefings, and delegation visits. A professionally designed stand helps brands stand out across the ADNEC halls and make a lasting impression on decision-makers.
