NAVDEX 2027, the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition, is a leading event for the naval defence and maritime security industry, bringing together navies, coast guards, government officials, naval technology manufacturers, maritime security companies, and international delegations. The 2027 edition will take place from 25 to 29 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, alongside IDEX 2027.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, NAVDEX is organised by Capital Events with the full support of the UAE Armed Forces. The event combines a purpose-built exhibition hall with ADNEC Marina, where visiting naval vessels and exhibitor crafts are berthed, along with an outdoor display area and daily on-water demonstrations.

What to Expect at NAVDEX 2027

NAVDEX focuses on naval, maritime, and coastal security technology, equipment, and crafts. Visitors can explore exhibits inside the hall, view vessels and small crafts berthed on the marina pontoons, and see equipment operating on board visiting international naval vessels.

A daily programme of live on-water demonstrations takes place in front of a grandstand at the dock edge, giving visitors the chance to see maritime technologies in action. NAVDEX also sits alongside the wider IDEX exhibition, the International Defence Conference, and the IDEX & NAVDEX Talks.

Why Exhibit at NAVDEX 2027

Exhibiting at NAVDEX gives companies direct access to naval and maritime decision-makers, including ministers, senior officers, chiefs of navies, and government buyers. NAVDEX is organised in partnership with GHQ (General Headquarters of the UAE Armed Forces), which helps ensure the presence of key entities such as the UAE Navy, CICPA, Coast Guard, and Port Authorities, along with international delegations from the Middle East, Africa, and the Asian Subcontinent.

Exhibitors can take part in several ways, from an indoor exhibition stand or outdoor pavilion to berthed vessels, static displays, and live on-water demonstrations. A professionally designed stand in the exhibition hall gives naval and maritime security brands a space for product displays, technical presentations, private meetings, and delegation visits, close to the vessels and demonstrations outside.
